The anonymisation of IP addresses is activated by default in Google Analytics. Due to IP anonymisation, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. According to Google, the IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Deactivate Google Analytics tracking

Third country transfer

Sofar as data is processed outside the EU/EEA and there is no level of data protection corresponding to the European standard, we have concluded EU standard contractual clauses with the service provider to establish an appropriate level of data protection. The parent company of Google Ireland, Google LLC, is based in California, USA. A transfer of data to the USA and access by US authorities to the data stored by Google cannot be ruled out. The USA is currently considered a third country from a data protection perspective. You do not have the same rights there as within the EU/EEA. You may not be entitled to any legal remedies against access by authorities.

Legal basis

The processing of data and use of analysis tools takes place on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

Purpose of the processing

Google uses the data and information obtained, among other things, to analyse the use of our website, to compile online reports for us that show the activities on our website and to provide other services in connection with the use of our website.

Google Analytics places a cookie on the data subject's IT system. What cookies are has already been explained above. By setting the cookie, Google is enabled to analyse the use of our website. Each time you access one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the SMWK and on which a Google Analytics component has been integrated, your browser is automatically prompted by the respective Google Analytics component to transmit data to Google for the purpose of online analysis. As part of this technical process, Google receives knowledge of personal data, such as the IP address of the person concerned, which Google uses, among other things, to trace the origin of visitors and clicks and subsequently to enable commission settlements.

The purpose of using analytics cookies is to improve the quality of our website and its content. Through the analysis cookies, we learn how the website is used and can constantly optimise our offer.

Duration of storage

These cookies are stored on the user's computer and transmitted by it to our website. As a user, you therefore have full control over the use of cookies. You can deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies by changing the settings in your browser. The data sent by us and linked to cookies is automatically deleted after 2 months. Data that has reached the end of its retention period is automatically deleted once a month.

Objection and elimination options

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by going to the cookie settings and changing your choices there. This does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation. Furthermore, you can prevent the setting of cookies by our website, as already described above, at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the browser used would also prevent Google from setting a cookie on your computer or browser. In addition, a cookie already set by Google Analytics can be deleted at any time via the browser or other software programs.

Furthermore, the data subject has the possibility to object to the collection of the data generated by Google Analytics relating to the use of this website as well as to the processing of this data by Google and to prevent such processing. To do this, the data subject must download and install a browser add-on at the link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl . This browser add-on informs Google Analytics via JavaScript that no data and information about website visits may be transmitted to Google Analytics. The installation of the browser add-on is considered by Google to be an objection. If the information technology system of the data subject is deleted, formatted or reinstalled at a later time, the data subject must reinstall the browser add-on in order to deactivate Google Analytics. If the browser add-on is uninstalled or deactivated by the data subject or another person attributable to his/her sphere of control, there is the possibility of reinstallation or reactivation of the browser add-on.

For more information and Google's applicable privacy policy, please visit https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/en/. Google Analytics is explained in more detail at this link https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/.

SSl encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential data, our website uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in your browser line. If encryption is active, the data you transmit to us via the website cannot theoretically be read by third parties.

Right of objection

You as a user of our website can exercise your right to object and object to the processing of your personal data at any time.

If you wish to correct, block, delete or obtain information about the personal data stored about you or if you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data or wish to revoke your consent, please contact the following e-mail address: datenschutz(at)comso.eu
