8.1.1 Description and scope of data processing

Google Analytics is a web analysis service that uses cookies to enable an analysis of the surfing behavior of users. Web analysis refers to the collection, collection and evaluation of data about the behaviour of visitors to websites.

This enables an analysis of your use of our websites. The information collected by cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there.

On behalf of the Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture and Tourism, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. The reports provided by Google Analytics are used to analyse the performance of our website.

We use the User ID function. User IDs allow us to assign a unique, persistent ID to one or more sessions (and the activities within those sessions) and analyze user behavior across devices.

Recipients of the data are/may be:

Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (as processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR)

With Google Analytics, the anonymization of IP addresses is enabled by default. Due to IP anonymization, your IP address is truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. According to Google, the IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Third country transfers

Insofar as data is processed outside the EU/EEA and there is no level of data protection corresponding to the European standard, we have concluded EU standard contractual clauses with the service provider in order to establish an appropriate level of data protection. The parent company of Google Ireland, Google LLC, is based in California, USA. A transfer of data to the USA and an access of US authorities to the data stored by Google cannot be excluded. The USA is currently considered a third country from a data protection perspective. You do not have the same rights there as within the EU/EEA. You may not be entitled to legal remedies against access by public authorities.

8.1.2 Legal basis

The processing of the data takes place on the legal basis according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

8.1.3 Legal basis

Google uses the data and information obtained, among other things, to evaluate the use of our website, to compile online reports for us that show the activities on our website, and to provide other services related to the use of our website.

Google Analytics places a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. What cookies are has already been explained above. By setting the cookie, Google enables an analysis of the use of our website. With each call-up to one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by FSV Zwickau Spielbetriebsgesellschaft mbH and on which a Google Analytics component has been integrated, your browser is automatically prompted by the respective Google Analytics component to transmit data to Google for the purpose of online analysis. As part of this technical procedure, Google receives knowledge of personal data, such as the IP address of the data subject, which Google uses, among other things, to understand the origin of visitors and clicks and subsequently to enable commission settlements.

Analysis cookies are used for the purpose of improving the quality of our website and its content. The analysis cookies allow us to learn how the website is used and enable us to continuously optimise our offer.

8.1.4 Duration of storage

These cookies are stored on the user's computer and transmitted from it to our website. Therefore, you as a user also have full control over the use of cookies. You can deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies by changing the settings in your browser. The data sent by us and linked to cookies are automatically deleted after 2 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month.

8.1.5 Possibilities for objection and elimination

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by visiting the cookie settings [SET THE LINK TO THE SETTINGS OF THE CONSENT TOOL HERE] and changing your choices there. The legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation remains unaffected. Furthermore, as described above, you can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the browser used would also prevent Google from setting a cookie on the computer or browser. In addition, a cookie already set by Google Analytics can be deleted at any time via the browser or other software programs.

Furthermore, the data subject has the possibility to object to and prevent the collection of data generated by Google Analytics relating to the use of this website as well as the processing of this data by Google. To do this, the data subject must download and install a browser add-on under the link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. This browser add-on informs Google Analytics via JavaScript that no data and information about visits to websites may be transmitted to Google Analytics. Google regards the installation of the browser add-on as an objection. If the information technology system of the data subject is deleted, formatted or reinstalled at a later date, the data subject must reinstall the browser add-on in order to deactivate Google Analytics. If the browser add-on is uninstalled or deactivated by the data subject or another person within their sphere of control, it is possible to reinstall or reactivate the browser add-on.

Further information and the applicable data protection provisions of Google can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy and at https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/de/. Google Analytics is explained in more detail under this link https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/.

  1. SSl Encryption

You can recognize an encrypted connection by changing the address bar of the browser from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in your browser bar.
