The Saxon Ministry of Science, Culture, and Tourism is committed to making its websites accessible in accordance with the Saxon Inclusion Act (SächsInklusG) and the Barrier-Free Websites Act (BfWebG) in conjunction with the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0). Accessibility Status

The basis for accessibility is the internationally recognized Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at Conformance Level AA and European Standard EN 301 549, Version 3.2.1. Additionally, the international standard PDF/UA-1 is considered for PDF documents.

The website is partially but not fully accessible according to the above guidelines. To support accessibility, there is an expandable menu in the left area. This allows adjustments for text size, grayscale, contrast, brightness, display of links, and font size.

Enforcement Procedure

If you have submitted an accessibility request to our website using the contact information mentioned above and a satisfactory solution is not reached within a reasonable timeframe (usually four weeks), you may contact the Enforcement Office responsible for the enforcement procedure for the inclusion of people with disabilities (Enforcement Office) at the Saxon State Chancellery. The Enforcement Office supports an out-of-court dispute resolution when conflicts arise between public authorities in Saxony and users of websites or mobile applications. This mediation process is free of charge and does not require legal representation.
