The collegial and interdisciplinary collaboration within the institute, as well as with partners from universities, other research institutions, and companies, makes working on current issues exciting, diverse, and constructive. I value the open culture of discussion and the readiness to accept unresolved problems as challenges and work together on solutions for the benefit of our society. The quality of our water is particularly close to my heart, and I aim to contribute through my research to generate more knowledge on the subject, drive new developments to improve water quality, and translate these into tangible products that can benefit everyone. With this motivation, I find open doors at the Science Park in Leipzig and among our Saxon partners from science and business, building a great network with many significant trailblazers, partners, and supporters.
