I experience the Hannah Arendt Institute in Dresden as a unique research environment for me, as it systematically combines contemporary history with political science research. I can work here in a highly specialised way and at the same time network broadly across disciplines. Based in Dresden, I can also develop the comparative historical perspectives on the border triangle (Germany-Poland-Czech Republic) that characterise my research.
