With its targeted promotion of research and technology development, Saxony offers a unique environment for driving forward innovative developments with high social relevance and thus creates an important basis for actively shaping structural change in a future-oriented way. The large-scale research center DZA, which is currently being founded, will create further perspectives in the region; the opportunity to actively shape this process was the reason for me and my family to make Görlitz our new home.
