Being the largest employer and educational institution in the city, TU Dresden bears significant societal responsibility. As a TUD community, we have the ability to make a substantial impact locally and contribute to environmental and climate protection. In this context, we have developed a sustainability strategy and action plan for TU Dresden, the implementation of which presents us with significant challenges. Our aim is to strengthen our commitment to sustainable education, research, and campus design starting from 2024, thus providing sustainable impulses. I look forward to collaborating within the TUD and its partner networks, advancing sustainability in the Free State of Saxony together.
