When I came to Saxony for my education, I was impressed by the variety of universities and study opportunities, as well as the well-connected research and startup landscape. Dresden, as a city with a high proportion of students, offers a vibrant atmosphere that captivates not only with its art and culture but also with an incredible amount of nature in the surrounding areas: castles and palaces, vineyards, or the Saxon Switzerland. My highlight is the Elbe Cycle Path. Additionally, with the regional train, one can quickly reach other impressive regions of Saxony, such as the Ore Mountains, Lausitz Lake District, Zittau Mountains, or Leipzig's New Lake District. In Dresden, I quickly felt at home and find everything I need for my personal work-life balance here.
