I appreciate the short distances at our university – they facilitate exchanges with students, colleagues at our Leipzig campus. But we're also well-connected throughout Saxony. Twice a year, the 'Mathematics/Physics + eLearning' networking event takes place, where lecturers from Saxon universities gather to exchange ideas on the use and optimization of eLearning tools. We benefit from each other, from our knowledge and experiences. I value this greatly, especially because it ultimately benefits the students. Providing good, understandable teaching with practical relevance is very close to my heart.
