International Student Services (ISS) in the Department of Student Affairs
The region of Saxony, particularly the city of Leipzig, offers a high quality of life and a pleasant environment for living and working. Since December 1st, 2022, I have been part of the team at the International Student Services (ISS) in the Student Affairs Department at HTWK Leipzig. In my role, I assist our incoming exchange students with questions related to their exchange semester and provide information on application processes, visa matters, orientation and integration services, scholarship programs, and other practical matters. Additionally, I am responsible for public relations regarding student exchanges and the buddy program. My work has two main objectives: I help incoming exchange students feel welcome at HTWK and integrate more easily into Leipzig. Furthermore, I contribute to positioning Leipzig and HTWK as attractive destinations for international students.
