I joined Physics of Life (PoL) in April 2023, a vibrant hub for cutting-edge biophysics research. What makes PoL truly exceptional is its unwavering commitment to scientific excellence and its prime location in the heart of Dresden. Its state-of-the-art research facilities enable us to explore the frontiers of science. Being a part of the "Mechanics of Biomaterials" group, I can apply my physics background to investigate cell mechanics. This enriching journey has broadened my skills, covering advanced techniques such as atomic force microscopy, fluorescence lifetime imaging, and cell culture. The robust support network from the PoL and the DIGS-BB Ph.D. program has been invaluable to my academic growth. I am thrilled to contribute to the dynamic field of biophysics and expand my skills for future endeavors.
