I am Yuleika Madriz, a geophysics engineer from Venezuela. Working in science in Saxony was one of the best decisions of my life. It started with the Master's program at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, which has a strong focus on sustainability and environmental awareness. During my studies, I got to know a vibrant international community, breathtaking landscapes and the charming lifestyle in Saxony. My professional career received a remarkable boost from the Helmholtz Institute Freiberg. In the Exploration Department, I have access to cutting-edge technology and can contribute to ground-breaking, non-invasive exploration techniques. Working with European experts from diverse cultures has not only enriched my personal life, but also my career. In Saxony, I have a fulfilling life characterized by knowledge, friendships and personal development.
